Exotic Pet Care Just Got Better: Zodiac Launches Emergency & 24-Hour Inpatient Services

Zodiac Launches Exotic Pet Emergency & 24-Hour Inpatient Services

Zodiac Pet & Exotic Hospital is proud to announce a major expansion of our veterinary services starting April 4, 2025. Guided by our motto, “All Species, One Love.” With upgraded facilities, extended exotic pets emergency hours, and the launch of 24-hour inpatient care, we’re taking that commitment to the next level.

Whether you care for a rabbit, parrot, reptile, or other exotic companion, our goal remains to offer high-quality, specialized veterinary care for all species

New Operating Hours – More Accessible Veterinary Care

We’re extending our clinic hours to better match the rhythm of your life:

  • General Veterinary Services (All Species): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Routine consultations, wellness checks, vaccinations, and more.
  • Exotic Pet Emergency Hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Urgent care for exotic pets such as rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, and birds.

Emergencies don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule—especially for exotic pets, who may hide symptoms until they become critical. That’s why we’ve introduced dedicated emergency vet hours with an exotic animal specialist and team on-site, ready to handle urgent cases after dark.

24-Hour Inpatient Veterinary Care Is Here

Starting from 4, April 2025, our vet clinic will provide round-the-clock monitoring for hospitalized pets. This includes:

  • Post-surgery care
  • Severe illness (e.g., heart or kidney failure)
  • Chronic conditions needing long-term monitoring or treatments (e.g., blood transfusion)

Our professional team is always on duty to deliver intensive care and provide peace of mind for pet parents—day and night.

Facility Upgrades That Raise the Bar

To support these new services, we’ve invested in major facility upgrades that rival top international veterinary centers:

Specialized Recovery Wards

  • ICU (Intensive Care Unit) with oxygen support and temperature control
  • Temperature-controlled “Cold” and “Hot” wards for species-specific needs
  • Aquatics Ward in our hot room for turtles and fish
  • Separate dog and cat wards to reduce stress and cross-contamination

Advanced Surgical Suites

We’ve upgraded an operating room to the highest sterility standard, enabling orthopedic and advanced abdominal surgeries with reduced infection risks and improved outcomes.

Cutting-Edge Diagnostics

  • In-house laboratory
  • Digital X-ray
  • Ultrasound & endoscopy
  • On-site CT scanning (via external collaboration)

And yes—these facilities are available during emergency hours for critical surgical needs like intestinal obstructions or traumatic injuries.
